Parking
There is a 4-car parking lot in front of the office.
Additional parking is available on the streets.
Entering the Office
Follow the ‘Office’ sign on the wall. The entrance is in
the back of the building. Only the patient may enter the office. If you bring someone, he or she should wait in the car until the patient comes out of the office.
After acupuncture
Your practitioner will also suggest when to come
back, if there is a need for it. Please allow 2-4 visits during a one-month period for best results. Complex cases may require more time.
Drink plenty of water, be gentle with yourself. It is best to take it easy and avoid heavy exercise directly after acupuncture treatment.
During acupuncture
Your practitioner will lead you to a private
acupuncture treatment room. Your health history will be reviewed and discussed. Then you will lie down on a comfortable table.
The best acupuncture points for your treatment will be chosen by PALPATION and sterile single-use acupuncture needles inserted. Some of the needles will be manipulated and you will feel some pain during this manipulation but this is the most important part of the treatment. Your practitioner will then leave the room, allowing you to rest while listening to music. You can call the practitioner if you need help during this time. After a determined time (10 to 15 minutes), the needles will be removed.
